About

Hi! I’m McKinzie.

ABOUT THE BLOG: Satisfying wants can bring us short term happiness. Learning how to find contentment with the things that we already have is the true path to lasting joy. In this blog I will share my journey of trying new recipes, finding good deals and nurturing my relationship with my hubby. You'll frequently find me perusing the clearance section or looking up a coupon code, actively searching pinterest for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe or writing sweet notes for my handsome man. I hope that we can inspire each other!

ABOUT US: My cutie and I were married March 6th, 2012. We really are the best of friends. If you want to read more about our love story check it out here. He always makes me laugh and is my better half! You may find us goring ourselves on frozen yogurt,  baking at midnight, or watching wayyyyyy too much Netflix.

Devin works full-time and goes to school full-time. He will finish his degree in Business Management at UVU next year! I am almost done with my first degree in Psychology from UVU and next year I will complete my second degree in Financial Planning at the U of U.

ABOUT ME: I am a total goofball. I love all things Tina Fey and can quote most of Baby Mama. I am a chocolate addict. Donuts, cookies, brownies you name it. If it has chocolate I'm in. I am a believer in my savior Jesus Christ and everyday I am grateful for his sacrifice. I am a huge country music fan. The sweet harmonies and the cry of the pedal steel guitar gets me every time. I love getting to know new people and making new friends. People are so fascinating! Do any or all of these sound like you? Then lets be friends! I would love suggestions for new music, faith building stories a silly video or just to get to know you so message me!
